The Ancient Greek gods


Ancient Greece

Zeus Poseidon and Hades were part of the 12 Olympian gods who ruled Mount Olympus.
Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades were the three sons of Cronos. When Cronos retired, the boys divided the world up between them. Zeus took the sky, Poseidon took the sea, and Hades ruled under the earth, the home of the dead. At first, it was great fun. But now each was struggling for the most power.

If you could be one of the Greek gods who would you be and why? Remember there were 12 Olympians who could be found on Mount Olympus.

    If I could be one of the Greek gods I would choose Hades because he had a helmet in which he could become invisible.

    If I could be one of the Greek gods I would choose Zeus because has the lighting bolt in which he could throw his voice and sound like anybody.

    If I could be one of the Greek gods, I would choose Poseidone because I would enjoy controling the mighty seas and have a trident.

    If I would be a god I would pick Hades because he owned everything that is valuable on the ground like Diamonds and Gold.

    i would be like to be aphrodite because she is the goddesses of making both gods and mortals fall in love with whom very she chooses

    I would also be Poseidon because I would be able to dry up lakes, create hurricanes, make new islands appear, and also Poseidon is the second strongest god!

    I would also pick poseidon because he is the god of all the water and he can make earthquakes and tsunam's when e raises his hand and make new islands in the middle of the water when he raises his hand.

    If I was a Greek god I would be Hades because he ruled the under earth and owned all the jewels.

    Mahindra, the gods have both greek and roman names such as Neptune is the roman name for Posiedon and the roman name for Hades is Pluto .

    If I would get to be a god, I would choose also choose Hermes because I would enjoy sending messages to people. I would also be able to go very fast. When delivering messages, I could avoid the weather by wearing a silver helmet.

    I would also want to be the god Hermes because he was the god of commerce, which means he was the god of trading. Hermes had alot of knowledge because he sent everyone messages.

    If I had to choose a god to be I would choose Aphrodite, because when she walked flowers bloomed and birds sang she possessed a magic girdle that gave the wearer infinate grace and made everyone fall in love with him or her

    I would like to be Athena because based on all the information I learned in class, there is much evidence that Athena was a good god. To begin with, Athena was the the god of wisdom and war. I like to have knowledge and know about a lot of things. Also, being the god of war, I can chose a side during a war and help that side. Based on all this evidence, that is why I will like to be Athena.

      I don't think Athena was the God of War. That would be Ares Athena's brother whom she disliked

    I would like to be Poseidon based on all the information I learned in school there is much manifestation to prove that he was the god of the sea and horses. Poseidon would be the god I would choose because I love the ocean life and horses.

    I would like to be Hestia because according to information I read about her she is the god of watching over orphans and children which I think is unique in a way.
